Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms according to strict hygiene protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiographs) and intraoral images.
- Manage patient records, appointments, and insurance information accurately.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive dentistry.
- Monitor patient vitals and ensure comfort throughout the visit.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or valid DA license in Arizona.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (Basic Life Support) is required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a dental office setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records is a plus.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
