Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, crowns, and extractions
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures and post-op care instructions
- Assist with inventory management and ordering dental supplies
- Coordinate patient scheduling and communication
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DAEFB or DANB preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control protocols
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- CPR/BLS certification (must be current)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
