Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic work
- Manage patient flow and chairside preparation with precision and efficiency
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict OSHA compliance protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and digital impressions
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-op care and oral hygiene
- Manage inventory ordering and supply chain optimization
- Support front desk operations including scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Colorado
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and OSHA bloodborne pathogen training
- Exceptional communication skills and chairside demeanor
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
- Valid Colorado driver's license and reliable transportation
