Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory hygiene standards
- Manage patient records and digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft
- Provide chairside assistance during cosmetic and orthodontic procedures
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate treatment plans with front office staff
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control protocols
- Experience with digital imaging software (e.g., Dexis, Sopro)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Current CPR/BLS certification
