Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures and routine check-ups
- Take and develop accurate dental X-rays
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms with sterilized instruments
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene
- Maintain precise digital records using Dentrix software
- Ensure OSHA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Michigan Dental Assistant certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Expertise in radiography and chairside assistance
- Strong knowledge of sterilization procedures
- Experience with dental practice management software
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- CPR certification required
