Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and surgeries
- Perform dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and adhere to safety protocols
- Manage infection control protocols and maintain sterile equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for efficient patient care
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Provide exceptional chairside support and patient education
Qualifications
- CDA or RDA certification required (California Dental Board)
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography and sterilization techniques
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication skills for patient interactions
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced clinical environments
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends
