Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures
- Execute digital X-rays and intraoral imaging
- Maintain sterile operatory environments and instrument sterilization
- Manage patient scheduling and recall systems
- Assist with dental charting and EMR documentation
- Prepare dental materials and ensure operatory readiness
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (DEXIS/CS 3700)
- CPR/BLS certification required
- TX radiology permit or ability to obtain immediately
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
