Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments with chairside support.
- Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and materials are sterilized and ready.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiographs) as directed by the dentist.
- Manage patient records and update dental charts accurately and confidentially.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and guide them through check-in processes.
- Instruct patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene techniques.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in a dental office setting (New graduates with strong clinical skills considered).
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and infection control protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
