Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including chairside support and instrument preparation
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain infection control standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal equipment functionality
- Perform administrative tasks including scheduling and patient record management
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Order and inventory dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental software (Dentrix Eaglesoft)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Oklahoma dental radiography license
