Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams, treatments, and oral surgeries
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs
- Manage patient scheduling and digital chart documentation
- Order inventory and oversee equipment maintenance
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Ohio radiology license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and chairside manner skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Current CPR/BLS certification
