Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and patient comfort
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization of all instruments/equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for seamless patient flow
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and oral hygiene best practices
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charting systems
- Coordinate with front office team for efficient scheduling and patient communication
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (Texas Board)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
