Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and patient billing information
- Maintain clean, organized pharmacy workspace and equipment
- Assist with patient inquiries and medication counseling
- Comply with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- No prior pharmacy experience necessary – training provided
- Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must obtain Pharmacy Technician certification within 6 months of hire
