Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict OSHA compliance
- Take digital X-rays and perform chairside assistance with advanced equipment
- Manage patient flow, schedule coordination, and insurance documentation
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain dental supply inventory
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- 2+ years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional communication skills for patient interactions
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced clinical environments
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
