Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and impressions
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness
- Manage patient records and assist with front desk duties
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Order and maintain dental supplies inventory
- Assist in treatment planning and case presentations
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DAEFCC or DANB)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a dental office
- Proficiency in dental radiography (X-ray certification)
- Knowledge of infection control protocols (OSHA/CDC)
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification required
