Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling, suction, and patient comfort
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory
- Manage patient scheduling, records, and front desk operations
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Assist in digital charting and practice management software
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Willingness to complete paid training program (40 hrs/week)
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- CPR certification preferred (will be provided during training)
