Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument sterilization and patient preparation
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with proper safety protocols
- Manage patient records using digital dental software systems
- Perform infection control and sterilization of dental instruments
- Provide chairside assistance during dental treatments and procedures
- Administer post-operative care instructions to patients
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to commit to our 8-week paid training program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for dental software
- Must possess reliable transportation to our Austin location
