Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Manage patient records and digital imaging systems with precision
- Sterilize equipment and maintain clinical hygiene protocols
- Take dental impressions and prepare temporary crowns
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure seamless appointment transitions
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Provide compassionate patient education on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Washington State Dental Assistant certification within 6 months
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail in sterilization procedures
- Basic computer literacy for practice management software
- Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish a plus)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
