Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Provide chairside support including suction, material handling, and patient comfort
- Implement infection control protocols and OSHA standards
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Deliver post-procedure instructions to patients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior dental experience necessary – we provide PAID training!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Basic computer proficiency for digital record management
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Ohio radiology certification (provided through training program)
- Background check and drug screen required
