Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical specialties (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, etc.)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific standards
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency procedures
- Precept and orient new staff as assigned
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois or compact state
- 1+ years of recent acute care experience in specialty area
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- BLS/ACLS required; specialty certifications preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility for 13-week assignments with potential extensions
