Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using 4-handed dentistry techniques
- Perform chairside duties including instrument transfer, suction management, and material preparation
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs (X-rays) with digital imaging systems
- Implement infection control protocols and sterilize equipment following OSHA guidelines
- Manage patient flow, schedule coordination, and digital chart maintenance
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education materials
- Assist in inventory management and supply ordering for clinical operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform fine motor tasks
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn dental software
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Ohio radiology permit (training provided if not certified)
- Background check and drug screening required
- Commitment to complete 12-week paid training program
