Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental examinations, including taking vitals and updating medical histories.
- Assist the dentist chair-side during procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are ready.
- Perform and process dental X-rays and impressions accurately.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Manage front desk reception duties, including scheduling appointments and greeting patients.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist patients of all ages.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
