Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory equipment per OSHA guidelines
- Take dental radiographs and assist with digital imaging
- Manage patient records using our advanced dental software
- Administer infection control protocols and ensure sterile environments
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Coordinate scheduling and patient flow in the treatment area
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or RDA license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with dental imaging software (e.g., Dexis, Schick)
