Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as per care plans
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Companionship through engaging conversations and recreational activities
- Maintain detailed care records and report changes in client condition
- Implement specialized care plans for clients with dementia, mobility challenges, or chronic illnesses
- Assist with light housekeeping and errand management
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Dane County
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate nature
- Ability to pass comprehensive background checks and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
