As a Caregiver with BrightStar Care, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and dignity while receiving the highest standard of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their mental well-being.
- Administer medication reminders and accurately log vital signs and daily activities.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and community outings.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized living environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (required for most positions).
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Previous experience as a CNA, HHA, PCA, or in Home Health is preferred but not always required.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine, compassionate personality.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
