Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs as per care plans
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities using personal vehicle
- Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversation and recreational activities
- Light housekeeping tasks and maintaining a safe, hygienic environment
- Document client progress and report concerns to care coordinators
- Follow established care plans and maintain client confidentiality
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant certification
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background checks and drug screening
- Compassionate nature with patience and excellent communication skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
