Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams, fillings, and extractions
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Take dental radiographs and perform lab duties
- Manage patient scheduling and digital records
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Order supplies and maintain inventory
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DA or EFDA)
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital imaging systems (DEXIS, Dexis)
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
