Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures, including instrument sterilization and patient preparation
- Take dental impressions and develop X-rays with precision
- Manage patient records using digital systems like Eaglesoft
- Administer local anesthetics and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and OSHA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule optimization
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory management
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification and current radiology license
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable transportation
