Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, endodontic, and oral surgery
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict OSHA compliance
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital radiography systems
- Manage patient scheduling, insurance verification, and digital charting
- Provide chairside support and patient education on oral hygiene
- Order supplies and maintain inventory control systems
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Basic knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient interactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-based environment
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible schedule availability including occasional Saturdays
