Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in diverse healthcare settings across Albuquerque
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision
- Document patient assessments and outcomes accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, JCAHO standards, and state regulations
- Adapt quickly to new environments and clinical workflows
- Mentor and support nursing staff during orientation periods
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Mexico or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
