Responsibilities
- Assess patient health history, perform physical examinations, and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, documenting all changes promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous staff education.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS or CEN preferred based on unit).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
