Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respirations.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, utilizing proper body mechanics and transfer techniques to ensure safety.
- Communicate patient changes in condition to Registered Nurses and physicians immediately.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitized patient environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA license issued by the State of Ohio.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is highly preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
