Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship through conversation, walks, and engaging activities
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care coordinator
- Light housekeeping tasks including laundry and tidying living spaces
- Transport clients to appointments and social outings as needed
- Administer medications under supervision with proper training
- Maintain accurate care logs and documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical stamina to assist with mobility transfers
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Willingness to complete paid caregiver certification training
