Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Assist with meal service and nutritional support
- Collaborate with nursing staff on care plans
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
- Respond promptly to resident call systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Massachusetts CNA certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Basic CPR/First Aid certification (provided if needed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
