Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Support nurses with medical procedures and patient care tasks
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and equipment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Report patient changes and concerns to nursing staff promptly
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Washington State CNA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate attitude and strong communication skills
- Background check and drug screening required
- Valid driverâs license (if transporting patients)
