Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse) accurately
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls
- Document patient observations and care activities in electronic health records
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments following infection control protocols
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families during healthcare transitions
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills with empathy and patience
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- No prior experience required – we provide extensive onboarding training
- Valid California driver's license preferred for potential errands
