Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status changes
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain sterile environments
- Ensure patient safety and comfort through regular rounds and attentive care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification (or willingness to obtain pre-employment)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Pass background check and drug screening
