Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, fluid intake, and resident conditions
- Assist with meal service and ensure proper nutrition/hydration
- Transport residents safely to activities and medical appointments
- Maintain clean, organized resident rooms and common areas
- Report health concerns to nursing staff promptly
- Support social activities and emotional well-being of residents
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic life support (BLS) certification (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude toward elderly care
- Must pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Willingness to work weekends/holidays as needed
