Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Support emotional well-being through compassionate communication
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Nebraska CNA certification or willingness to obtain before hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to patient dignity
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Must be available for day/evening/weekend shifts
