Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Transport patients and assist with meals as needed
- Report changes in patient status to licensed nursing staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current Wisconsin CNA certification or enrollment in state-approved training program
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to patient dignity
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license preferred
