Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Maintain clean, organized patient rooms and common areas following infection control protocols
- Support patients with activities of daily living while respecting dignity and independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Compassionate attitude with commitment to patient-centered care
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts
