Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
- Assist with mobility and patient positioning to prevent bedsores
- Support licensed nursing staff with daily care routines
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Document patient observations accurately in medical records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for elderly/diagnosed patients
- Attention to detail in medical documentation
- Reliable transportation to various Houston-area locations
- Background check and drug screening required
