Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and families.
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and surgeries as directed by nursing staff.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Follow strict infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA license issued by the State of Texas.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR/BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is preferred but training can be provided.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
