Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Provide mobility support and assist with patient transfers using proper techniques
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential medical records
- Support infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Compassionate companionship and emotional support for residents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be certified or enrolled in a state-approved CNA program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid New Mexico driver's license preferred
