Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Support nurses with clinical procedures and medication administration (under supervision)
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in shift reports and team huddles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Georgia CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- No prior experience necessary - training provided
