Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming) to patients
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and patient positioning
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Support meal services and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Respond to call lights promptly and maintain patient safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Ohio CNA certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Positive attitude and passion for geriatric care
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
