Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Provide mobility support and assist with ambulation
- Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being
- Document care activities accurately in medical records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop care plans
- Maintain a clean and safe resident environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current Ohio CNA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate attitude with genuine interest in elderly care
- Reliable transportation to various Columbus locations
- Pass background check and drug screening
