Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient responses, and health status changes
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercises under supervision
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic health records
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety regulations
- Support patients with emotional and social needs during their care journey
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
