Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation
- Document care activities accurately and timely
- Support residents with meals and nutrition plans
- Maintain clean, safe living environments
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Texas CNA certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Compassionate nature with strong empathy skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Background check and drug screen clearance
- Flexible schedule availability (including weekends/holidays)
