Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and report patient changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and medical equipment
- Document care activities accurately in patient records
- Support patients with emotional comfort and companionship
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior CNA experience necessary - we provide full training!
- Valid Texas CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
- Reliable transportation to work shifts
- Background check and drug screen required
