Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.)
- Assist with mobility and transfer activities using proper techniques
- Support residents with nutritional needs during meal times
- Document observations accurately in patient records
- Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Texas CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred (training provided)
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
- Pass background check and drug screening
